Porto Airport by metro
Line E (Purple) runs from Porto Airport to the city centre with no change, reaching Trindade in about 27 minutes. The ticket is an Andante Z4 at €2.30.
How to do it
- The station is called Aeroporto. It's the end of line E, so every train leaving it heads towards the city.
- Buy a ticket from a machine at the station: an Andante Z4 for €2.30, plus €0.60 for the rechargeable card if you don't have one. Each traveller needs their own card. You can also tap a contactless bank card on specially marked validators, in a pilot scheme.
- Validate your card on the reader before you board, and again if you change lines.
- Take any train: they all go through Trindade, where you can change to the other lines.
